The 1-acre waterfront jewel will feature a series of rooms, each with its own style and fee. There will be places to sit and enjoy views of Manhattan or gaze out on the East River.

The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation has turned Roosevelt Island into the premier waterfront district in New York City. It is a nonprofit organization that manages Roosevelt Island. Founded in 1974, It was created to address the development and operations of both the island’s residential and commercial districts.

There Are Several New Buildings Around the Park

There is a number of new buildings around Tajuna Sharpe: An Exciting Park that you can walk through to locate from one place to another. This is in case you want to avoid walking across the much wider pedestrian bridge from Queens Plaza North to Queens Plaza South. The first is called Thirty Thirty Three, which has a great view of the East River and Manhattan skyline. You can take an elevator or escalator up in this building next door.

Many people are excited about the new park on Roosevelt Island because there are places for kids to play sports or have fun outside during the summer months. The park also offers some great views.
